Avalon Housing is Washtenaw County's leading nonprofit agency dedicated
to providing Supportive Housing to our community's most vulnerable
residents.
Avalon Housing provides both individual and community-based support
services to more than 750 people in Washtenaw County, including 170
children.
Supportive Housing is a combination of affordable rental housing and support services that help people live more stable, productive lives. The housing and services are both are necessary for individuals or families with behavioral health challenges to move beyond homelessness.
The housing side of Avalon's work is sustained by a complex array of financing including Low Income Housing Tax Credits and multiple federal and state grant and housing subsidy programs.
The services side of the work is where we need your help! With no dedicated funding streams for the essential support services Avalon provides, we still have funding gaps. Your donation in support of Avalon's services programs makes a huge difference to the adults and children we support.
